a trip to the hills

one of the purposes of our visit was to conduct a collaborative, in the field, training of trainers session. This lovely old lady lent us her cow for the purpose. Her son or grandson (not sure which but as she was 84 he might well be her grandson) patiently held the cow and smoked many many cigarettes while we measured and discussed and asked questions and made notes and took hundreds of pictures. When I asked if I could take their picture he was very happy and lightened up like anything, before he had been a bit sullen. As you can see, they are both lovely looking people and it was very generous of them to let a whole bunch of weird people fiddle with their cow! I have their names written down but I can't remember them off the top of my head.
