Crowding the kayak

I headed down to Xwaaqw'um today and enjoyed the exercise and the fresh air. It was busy at the dock and the blue boat was definitely taking up space!
I stuck a few more onions in the soil and did a bit more thinning of arugula. The young leaves are so tasty in our salads. I cleaned up the rest of the plant pots that will be going to recycling then finished weeding the rock perimeter of the house. A little bit left to do in the garden where violets have taken over. I had a pot of pretty little violets years ago and they've spread like crazy. Amazing roots! 
Krista called this morning and it was great to talk with her and Dan. They might be coming over in July!!  Fingers crossed. It's been too long since we've seen them.
Moving day for Kalyn and Spencer! They found an apartment at SFU, perfect for them.  :-))
