Royal Tudor Pull..

… on the river in Richmond today. And we just happened to be there at the right time. The Gloriana, the royal row barge supported by cutters and rowing craft. An impressive craft and rowing achievement. Lots of other different boats messing about on the river today too. A fantastic day for it.

A good day for us too, walking from Richmond to Teddington and back along the foot path, with a visit to Ham House gardens and the wonderful lavender garden. Not yet fully out but still delightful to enjoy the architecture and the perfume. My extra.

A fresh breeze blowing all day but glorious sunshine to go with it.

Our feet know they’ve walked over twelve miles today. How grateful we are to be able to do so. Lots of chat and thoughts of friends and family as we walked.
