A Different Evening Outing

Meg had an afternoon walk as I am guarding an evening charter train. It’s a fellow volunteers birthday treat …. and yes there was cake! Barbecue food too. My assistant tonight is a very old friend, we first worked together here over thirty years ago but lost touch after my children were born. Frank moved to the area a few months before I did in 2019 but the pandemic got in the way of renewing our friendship. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable evening out.
