A cunning plan.

I’m so glad we have a hedgehog visiting again! As we has one on the camera for 2 consecutive nights, I put some hedgehog food in the hedgehog house `(to stop cats getting to it), a few peanuts outside to encourage it to go in, and a dish of water. It worked! We had about several visits throughout the night and the food was nearly all consumed. There may be more than one hoggy, but the images aren’t good enough to tell. 
I was up very early this morning to do my final Breeding Bird Survey of the year - the highlight being Whitethroats, and I got a Poplar Hawk Moth in the trap so all in all, a successful day!
