The Siberans
Guarding the front line of my house. A little purple iris army I transplanted last year. They march along, thriving in poor soil next to the road.
Their history: I Grew their relatives in Iowa in the last century. They move to North Carolina with me and then later a bunch immigrated to upstate New York. Some of these hardy iris flourish in a North Carolina garden.
They are hardy anywhere that gets cold.
