Rhubarb and Biskit . . .
. . . and a visit by this little bug(**).
With today’s family gathering postponed we thought it would be a quiet day, however daughter phones to say she is bringing some rhubarb over with some for Mike (her father-in-law) and could we drop Mike’s over. It turned out that we were expected to cook it first as well . . .
Mike and Cynthia are old friends of ours, and Cynthia is somewhat poorly at the moment. Cooking and Mike are not compatible words. We used to tease him about it pre COVID in the FNDG meetings as Mike was the only bloke that couldn’t cook.
Anyway, Biskit came as well, so a compulsory photo was in order, and we were joined by this pretty bug while we were chatting. (Bug currently not IDed.) Bug now IDed as a Wasp Beetle.
I figure being conned into cooking Mike’s rhubarb is silly enough for a Saturday.
