DASHING AWAY WITH THE SMOOTHING IR0N

Hello lovely Blippers,

Can you believe that it’s Saturday again and not only Saturday, but Silly Saturday? Is it us, or do they come round more quickly than they used to?

Anyway, today we decided that we would help Mrs HCB with the ironing. Usually Mr HCB would be happy to do it but he is pottering about in the garden and still has a lot to do, after they bought all those half price plants, so we thought we would be helpful.

Donald said that he would take charge of the iron because he’s the biggest and he warned us that we needed to be very careful because irons get hot!

We weren’t quite sure how to do the ironing, and for goodness sake you don’t need to iron socks and pant, do you?  Now that is silly!!  We’re sure that Admirer wouldn’t have done silly things like that, so we can just imagine that today she will be laughing at us if we iron all that’s in the washing basket.

Mr and Mrs HCB have been invited out for lunch with some friends so we thought if we did this little job for her it would help. Meanwhile we think that Mr HCB will have to be dragged in from the garden in time for them to go – that’s silly too.
