Ready to pop

The day turned out much better weather wise ending up very sunny indeed. That is until a torrential downpour had us and friends round for a catch up scurrying indoors.

I managed to spend more time in the garden though than anticipated. With the sunshine my face (as usual) in sun and despite sun cream) had turned into a personal Platinum Jubilee beacon. Brighter than this poppy flower about to burst open.
