Tie an orange ribbon

Round the old oak tree. Doesn't have quite the same ring somehow.
Drove into ChCH this morning to try an buy a book I want and pick up a Swiss ball I had ordered. The puck up was in St Asaph St so I got see a bit of the city I don't usually travel. God it's sad to see some of the sights there since the earthquake. Amongst the debris is this tree, trunk completely wrapped in orange material. Looks really kinda funky!

A dismal day weather wise - all bodes well for Akaroa!
