Never Loved Elvis

A day working in Bristol for both of us. In the evening we had tickets to the much-COVID-rescheduled The Wonder Stuff at the O2 Academy.

They’re one of my (Annie’s) absolute favourite bands, and take me straight back to the early nineties listening to them. It turns out I can still remember almost every word of the album they performed as their own “support” act. The early nineties were a hard time for me, losing my boyfriend and mum within two years of each other - and good friends and music like this saw me through.

It was a brilliant night - I sang, danced and smiled all the way through.
