Three modes of transport in one shot!
We’ve had a day of two halves; a pleasant morning with S’s mum picking out plants at the garden centre and then having a great lunch in Uffing; a less than pleasant afternoon going back and forwards to the hospital where her mum is now residing.
She took a turn just as we were leaving the Gasthof and the landlord called for help. Within 5 minutes the paramedics arrived and started their work and ten or fifteen minutes later an ambulance and a doctor both arrived and took over. Two hours after that and she was in hospital, had been assessed in the emergency dept and was being transferred to a cardiac ward. I have to say I was seriously impressed with the medical service, couldn’t have been better. The upshot is that she’ll be in hospital over the weekend before getting more tests on Monday but she seems OK.
So Day 1 here was a bit stressful, Day 2 seriously stressful! I’m holding my breath over tomorrow.
