Fell Foot

Milling around the boat houses at Fell Foot after a swim ( 14.5°C if you're interested) waiting for the café to open. We'd decided to give them some custom for a change.  But they had no hot food and whilst you might think 14.5 is quite warm, its not when you've been in the water for an hour, ( yes wearing  a wetsuit) and you are looking forward to a hot breakfast..
So we decamped to the wonderful station café at Haverthwaite where I tucked into sausage, egg and mushroom on thick granary toast and a big mug of coffee.
