Sarria to Portomarín

I had an early dinner in Portomarín overlooking the roof of the fortress church of St John complete with storks nest, occupied,
There was a change in how I experienced the Camino today not unlike how I felt about walking amongst the crowds in Pollok Park when the first lockdown eased. I think it was ever thus. I walked with several folk who had joined a couple of stages before Sarria  so they could experience something of the less travelled parts.
