Sea View

On day one of our holiday, we mocked people for paying extra for the Bali beds.

But after having our freebie the other day, we totally saw the attraction!

We had a couple more trips booked, but the one for us to swim with whale sharks was cancelled due to rough sea conditions.
The tour guide offered for us to rebook for another day, but did warn us that the trips that had gone out this week, hadn’t seen anything. We decided that was too big a gamble; to give up a whole day with the risk of seeing nothing.
Our other trip was to snorkel the reefs around Cozumel, but we booked that before we knew we had an amazing reef right outside the hotel.

We made the decision to just chill and enjoy our last couple of days, so cancelled the excursions.

With the trips cancelled, we thought we’d book a Bali bed again for today (we’d already booked one for tomorrow!).
They’re perfect for us; quiet, comfortable and best of all, full shade all day.
We can just relax and enjoy the cool breeze from the sea :-)
