The Crown Inn, Chislehurst, Kent

Continuing with my Sunday evening pub series this is the pub I meant to blip last week when I had the wrong lens on. Its been done up in recent years and is now also a hotel, but in years gone by it was a dark and dingy place where it was the best place for underage teenagers to drink :)

Its a Shepherd Neame pub built in 1874 so a pretty young pub by Chislehurst standards and it sits on the edge of the Common at 90 degrees to the Tiger's Head which I blipped earlier.

Its Happy Birthday to Iggy Pop this is one of the most viewed videos of him on YouTube from long long back of course its also the birthday of the Queen (I only remember because of Iggy)
