Nant Ffrancon Pass

THURSDAY

A drive over the border for a few days in North Wales.

Inspired by Drama Queen's visit in February, we stopped off for lunch at the Chocks Away Diner on the airfield at Broughton. Whilst eating my fish finger sandwich I was lucky enough to see the Airbus Beluga taxi down the runway and take off into the distance (see extra).

We then headed over to Snowdonia to catch up with a relative before heading over to Denbigh via the Nant Ffrancon Pass (main blip).

A walk in the sunshine this evening.
