M feeling a bit better. Well enough to come on our walk. Channelside then call in B&Q to get some potting compost 
Well enough to repot the rhodedendron  in a bigger pot. 

But we decided to contact Stuart from Four Seasons  garden services re cutting back the ivy which is climbing on the roof .  M didnt feel safe last time he did it, balanced on the ladder. Quite a big job but Stuarts given us a good quote and he has platforms etc to do the job safely.

It's almost unbelievable  that all this ivy began from a 1 litre pot.
