preschool pickup

The best part of preschool drop off and pickups is walking down this lush path, chatting to the little one. He’s especially chatty at the moment. Today he was enjoying the carpet of fallen rhododendron flowers and hunting for dinosaur eggs. And naturally we played fetch as he likes to pretend to be a good dog.

Great excitement when we got home as we’ve had a letter from school, inviting him for a visit.

Gratefuls:

1. Progress with the bureau - I’ll have it out of the cellar in the nick of time;
2. Our builder visiting to talk over the plan - which is pleasingly fluid as we need to wait and see what’s uncovered when they start digging and we decide how we want it;
3. Lunch from the deli to congratulate ourselves for the cellar clearance.
