It wasn't there....................

Yesterday, when we were driving to Aldi, my human spotted a rather lovely tennis ball just lying in the gutter waiting for me to pick it up. Obviously she's not sad enough to stop the car, jump out and pinch a tennis ball. She said she would walk me that way today and if it were still there I could retrieve it. Finders keepers and all that.


Mmmmmmm.................. I was a bit cross last night. I wanted to go for an extra walk in the pouring rain because I was pretty sure if we left it overnight another doggie would get it.


I was right!!!


We went for my walk at 7.50am and this was the exact spot where the rather lovely tennis ball was. As you can see, it was no longer there. Boooohoooo!
