With this virus keeping me indoors, a bit of bored self indulgence made me go on to Amazon and purchase a new lens.

The Canon 50mm F1.8 MK2 which I think at £80 is about as cheap as it's going to get. Pretty plasticy and the focus isn't instant but already after today I can already recommend it to any Canon users out there and certainly better value after the price hike of the F1.4 cousin.

Now through me sniffles I can go for those min DOF shots...
