homeward

The week of work is over. I met up with an old university friend yesterday evening in Sunnyvale for food (Vietnamese, very tasty, lots of mint) then packing and up early to go to the airport. Dropped the car (ta ta mustang), SFO to EWR (the United 757 was so old that there was no per-seat entertainment; it was all overhead mounted CRTs!) then EWR to EDI and then a quick drive up the road. 18h solid travel.
