Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2022 Tuesday — Show & Tell

Today we headed earlier to Morro Bay than our usual afternoon time. We were hoping the breeze would be milder in the morning and it was. We walked our pups, Chloe & Mitzi, thru Tidelands Park.

Once we got the pups back in the car and gave them a drink, I started my daily routine of walking. I headed north on the Embarcadero with a destination of Tognazzini’s Dockside parking lot where I would meet-up with again with Mr. Fun and the pups.

Other than needing to get around a group of overly energetic junior high kids who were obviously on a field trip to the park, my walk was pleasant and uneventful. I saw a tiny butterfly and a bumble bee in the ice plant flowers, and looking at the boats in the bay is always enjoyable. My walk time was just over 21 minutes, so I think when I add the previous minutes that we had walked Chloe & Mitzi, I accomplished the 30 minutes of doctor recommended walking.

Part of the reason we were out of the house earlier in the day today is because we had an afternoon appointment with a young man who has given us an estimate for our backyard improvement that will provide a walkway up to the top of our backyard hill. We were meeting again to fine tune some details.

While we were waiting for him, I began preparing tuna salad. I was chopping celery, dicing onion, and hard boiling eggs. So later after our meeting, finishing the prep for our evening meal was easy.

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
