Blue-eyed Daisy

This afternoon I spent 6 hours on our courtyard. First I replanted what was left of our Geraniums after replacing the soil in the window box first in an attempt to get rid of all the vine weevil larvae that had eaten the rest of them. The next job was planting up the annual Salvias that I'd bought earlier in the week and two Osteopsermum plants that I hadn't been able to resist bringing home from the supermarket yesterday.

Halfway I took a short break that I used to take a few photos of what caught my eye on our courtyard. Although I also like the shots that I took of the emerging new leaves on our Acer and of some unfurling fern leaves, I decided to blip this more colourful one . I'd accidentally placed the two Osteospermum plants that were waiting to be planted so close to each other that I was able to get a flower of each in the same shot, showing their difference in colour. Apparently Osteospermums have several common names but I chose blue-eyed daisy as my title because I like that one the best.

Although they were quite enjoyable, those 6 hours of mostly standing in the same position have unfortunately resulted in a painful back and sore feet.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments and stars on my ducklings blip from yesterday.
