Chocolate!

We spent the day with brother #1, catching up on this and that, accompanying him to the garden centre for lunch. He selected some new plants as there will be visitors coming at the end of the month under the Open Gardens scheme. The extra is of one of the roses already looking good.

We later dropped in on my niece''s chocolate shop for ice creams and gifts to take home, main photo is her business name plate - apparently the name began as a protest against obligatory own-names on certain social media, now used as a unique business ID. And the chocolates are yummy. My great-niece joined us after school so we've had a super family day.

Last day tomorrow so hope to make the most of the local history, there's so much to see and we've barely scratched the surface.
