Saw this picture at the end of last year and hinted to my husband it would make a lovely present for a lovely lady who likes taking photos.

Clearly I didn't hint hard enough as it never materialised on chrimbo day. So, we were in the shop last week and I thought bugger it, I'm treating myself. Picked it up today after it was framed and I'm well chuffed : D

Not so chuffed with the Commonwealth Pool. This weekend it was hosting the FINA world series diving. Tom Daley was taking part and we'd been trying to get tickets for tonight's final for a while. They were all sold out but we'd heard over the weekend they'd been freeing up empty seats that people hadn't turned up for during the earlier sessions so we thought we'll go along and see what happens. They're were LOADS of free seats and about 20 people waiting to see if they might release them. Unfortunately, they didn't and 'ushered' us out the building. No doubt most of them were corporate seats for people who never had any intention of turning up. A great look for a world event in Scotland in the run up to the Commonwealth Games next year....
