View from my seat

I was doing a voluntary turn in the John Buchan Museum today.  While discussing the pictures of the Queen on the door in my blip today with one of the visitors, she told me that her Father had met the Queen when she visited  the town when he was a Councillor in the 1960s.  He told her that the loo seat which was for the Queen’s exclusive use had been auctioned after she had left!!
