Travelling
We have arrived exhausted at Jen and Pete's for the night so not a great deal to write. It was a shorter ride on the ferry to Scrabster and a very good move to do B&B on the boat to avoid the early up, but very weird being one of only eight people onboard apart from the occasional crew member.
Once docked Tony had an onerous five hour drive, first to Inverness and then on to Aberdeen airport to drop off the car. We took the bus in to the city and had a quick snack before boarding the train to Glasgow and out to Chatelherault, to be met with the first rain we've encountered in two weeks!
So the only blip taken today was at 06.30 as we rounded Hoy heading to the mainland and passed by the Old Man of Hoy. It was very overcast but there was just a glimpse of blue and early morning light, which sadly touched the cliff but didn't quite reach the Old Man's head before it disappeared behind the clouds again.
