Birds on a wire

What a bloody miserable day. On the one hand I'm pleased the garden, especially all the new plants, are getting a good watering but seriously.

Mostly spent studying and making stuff (gel facial cleansers today) but did get a wee walk with the boys during a small rain-free window at lunchtime.

I went over to Threipmuir Reservoir for a swim with a friend this evening in between the thunderous downpours. We were pretty soon completely disorientated between the very poor visibility and a noticeable drift. We had to work out where my fog lights were to be able to drive back.
