Colourful Corner 2.

Two visits to the allotment today - had to cut first one short as I ended up chatting too much as I walked Ginny round and was nearly late for an appointment to take someone to view a flat.  She insisted on me joining her for lunch and chose a nice restaurant in Thorpe Bay.  Why is food so big these days!  I chose chips with garlic mayo.  The chips were lovely (triple cooked style in duck fat at a guess) with a teacup sized bowl for the mayo but there was just too much.  When someone has bought lunch I do not like leaving some so I just about finished them but now this evening I still don't have an appetite for anything.  I am actually missing cooking for myself tonight!
Went back to the allotment late afternoon to do some work - planted more potatoes and walked Ginny again.  I mostly walk her in the morning - it was interesting how different the changed direction of the light made everything look.  This little patch of colourful flowers would normally be in deep shade.
