Iris magnifica

Actually this is a rather small, undernourished version of a plant that lives up to it's Latin name, being truly magnificent. This one will have two or three flowers but they can produce several more. Grown in a bed inside the greenhouse, I have seedlings to release into the open garden where they should do well.

I have one more crocus to show ..... if it lasts long enough. It keeps getting trumped by more photogenic rivals!
