A day of mixed emotions, the first home game after the twenty fourth anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster.
Before kick off there was a minute of applause to celebrate the life of Anne Williams, the mother of 15 year old Kevin a victim at Hillsborough. She died of cancer last week. She was one of the mums who fought for justice against all the odds for twenty four years.
Included within the applause was a tribute to those who died or were injured in the Boston bombing.
Both sets of fans took part without exception, a fitting tribute.
