O cebreiro to Tricastella

It rained properly today, all day, and was glad of S’s company. The scenery we didn’t see would have been spectacular and I was pleased that we had a very sunny day yesterday for one of the highest points on the Camino Francés at around 4,500 feet.
The route today was relatively undemanding and just over 22km with plenty of places to stop for coffee and snacks and dry off a bit. The thoughtful owner of my pension for the night greeted with newspaper to dry out my boots. The forecast is warm and sunny for tomorrow so anything that doesn’t dry out overnight will be fine by later on tomorrow morning.
Santiago is only a week away and tomorrow will be the last day of the road less traveled as we meet many more pilgrims/peregrinators walking the last 100km or so.
The blip is the delightful village of Ramil just before Tricastella and where the rain briefly stopped.
