Sports day!

Today was CyclopsJnr's sports day, with MrsCyclops in attendance.

How exciting to have a normal sports day after covid! It was a nice warm afternoon for it.

The sports day was for P3&4 with Divisions competing for the cup. 

There was directly competitive tug of war and sprint events, but most of the afternoon was spent with the kids rotating around different activities (sack race, throwing, relay, fancy dress, obstacle) and generating points based on how much was completed in a set time. It wasn't announced as they went along but they had bigger kids there taking a tally and feeding the scores up.

CyclopsJnr was in the tug of war. His division put on an impressive performance in the semi final but lost in the final. Very exciting.

Division Kinross came third out of four overall, but plenty fun was had. Then the kids were all given an ice lolly.

CyclopsJnr just about had enough energy left for his swimming lesson.
