Rural Serenity….

A partly cloudy early morning in Paradise. We had overnight rain so it was very wet underfoot. Gumboot weather. My gumboots are rather fancy and made mainly of Neoprene. They are very warm. There is a herd of Charolais cattle grazing in the paddock over the other side of Doctors Creek at the end of the river side walk. It is great having son Duncan to stay for a few days. He took Keith out during the afternoon. They went to the Cork and Keg pub in Renwick . There they sat in front of the fire on a cold rainy afternoon.
