There was definitely something in there…

It has been a relatively warm day, and the rain stayed to the west of us, so I gardened all day.

Weeding, mulching, digging, shovelling, plant-trimming… in other words the usual winter stuff.

I am pleasantly tired and am looking forward to an evening curled up on the sofa with a book. I’m in the middle of an inspirational read: Diary of a Young Naturalist, by Dara McAnulty. He has an extraordinary ability to describe vividly the natural world and explain how it feels to him as somebody with autism.

Jeaniebean is currently beneath a blanket, growling at the mouse / moose in her sleep (or maybe a bear).
