Choolie's Chicks
A chilly breeze from the north today, but mostly sunny, with the odd clouds passing over.
Another early shift in the airport. I've been working on the check-in desk all day. Most flights were on time, apart from the delays on Edinburgh and Glasgow. Nipped by friend Julie's this evening, then onto the peat hill. I've been busy raising the peats, to help them dry. Met John-Lee Fullerton in the hill, he's just started there this year. Early night again.
Friend Paula (Sutherland) and her daughter, Leanne, were along Julie's this evening, meeting her new chickens. Julie has had them in the incubator for the past week of so, and this four have hatched, with more to come. I left them to it, and wouldn't be surprised if Leanne sneaked them in her pockets before leaving. L-R - Leanne with Boris, Paula with Mr Poppers and Julie with Tiger and Baskin. Taken at Meadowfield Crescent, Scalloway.
