Orchids

A week ago I was delighted to find a single orchid on Scat Ness - today there were hundreds of them - both northern marsh (the main picture) and heath-spotted (in the extra).

And in auk-of-the-day (the other extra) - a tystie (aka black guillemot) around a regular nesting spot.
