The Celebration Tree

In normal times our Christmas Tree is put away at the traditional times.

However, what we now call our Celebration tree has been lit continuously since Christmas 2019.  The lights are LED and electricity consumption is nominal.

The decorations and ornaments are changed to celebrate a particular festival. The tree has just been decorated to celebrate Independence Day in the United States of America.

Democracy is a delicate flower and is not flourishing in America or in the Disunited Kingdom.

Use it or lose it.

I have now begun the evening patrol of watering container plants within ”The Policies" and our Neighbours.

It is quite dry hearabouts  and the evening sunlight is very pleasant. If I had not partaken of a whisky Mac I would have suggested an evening run in the countryside.

There is a cool breeze coming off the sea. Tomorrow is forecast to have some rain.
