We Drank More Wine Than Expected

Our visitors left after breakfast and after taking Dylan for a long walk, Mr Kit and I headed off to our village Jubilee party.

It was a really well organised event held in the village donkey paddock. There was a marquee housing the bar and band, a helter skelter and harness trampoline for the kids, an ice cream and coffee shed, a hog roast and not forgetting two performances from Dangerous Steve, and his daredevil show. The village committee secured significant funding so most things (except the bar!) were free to village residents.

We enjoyed it more than we expected, potentially because we drank more wine than we expected!
