goodbye uckfield

Time to go..always sad, but I've enjoyed a full 5 days with my parents and have seen my sister and neices too. I was pleased that both Mum and Dad were able to walk with me to the station - a year ago that wasn't possible.

I'm also a little sad to be leaving Uckfield. I've only really got to know it in the past few years, when I've explored on foot. Every time I visit, I find new paths, new woods and some amazing trees. There have been a lot of new houses built in that time, but still there are green spaces to enjoy.

On the train now, rushing towards London and home - much as I like it here, Scotland is where my heart belongs.
