Birdseye chilli

A beautiful sunny day, for a change, but cold and a bit windy. It's winter and as expected the bug life is not buzzing except for a few common species of flies, about which I am not nuts. The birdseye chillis had some appeal, especially this one - wrinkled, showing different colours and past its prime. The background is the lavender bush and shadows beyond. And it's SOOC.
