Twenty

A bit of a blip-cheat as I actually finished reading this yesterday but my rain-soaked irises won out. Ann Cleeves is a favourite author but I wasn’t completely convinced by the first in this new series with a new detective and a new location. I enjoyed this second one much more.

Day One of Term Six was a bit of a shock to the system, particularly getting up and teaching three lessons back to back to groups who all have exams this week. The weather was kinder to us at lunchtime than it had been all morning and our team meeting at the end of the day felt fairly productive. I have a feeling that this term is going to go quickly.
