Beached

Up early and took juno for a morning walk, it was windier than expected. We had lots of company and juno had a play.

I was dropped off to go for a wee paddle with an intructor and some others.

Initially the sea looked flat with little swell, however the wind was blowing off shore.

A paddle around and some skills to get into the tiny harbour.

Round the corner the wind was tough and paddling into it made it hard going.

A wee visit to the shore to discuss what we wanted to do, we decided to head round the next bay and then make a decision.

The right decision was made to make it a wee half day trip, the sea was getting up and the wind chamged direction.

I had to really concentrate on the way back with wind and sea trying to catch me out.

On the landing strokes I hit a large wave and had a wee bath.

A fun couple of hours and have a bit more confidence to get my kayak out.

Dropped off and a bus back to the ladies. Eco daughter had watched the diving at the Commie, Tom Daly being the big draw.

A lovley tea and some gardening.
