A particularly active day today.

Susie took Finlay to the cinema this morning so I took Brody out on the bike. He wasn't that into it this time and his favourite bit was when we stopped to chuck stones in the Braid burn. I think he was just upset at thinking he was missing a better time with Susie and Finlay. He cheered up when we had chocolate biscuits though and by the time we went to meet Susie and Finlay for lunch he was back to his cheeky self.

After lunch it was nap time and while the boys slept and Susie tackled the washing, I went out for a run. Again it felt pretty good and I managed to put in 5 miles in a pace I didn't think I'd be able to maintain. As always though the test is how I feel the next couple of days. Seems I'm settling back into it though. Think I might book in some events to spur me on.

The run was 5.06 miles in 41:20.
