A yellow flag

After all of the flag waving over the last 4 days here is the yellow iris known as the yellow flag.
Besides being a very handsome fellow the yellow flag is apotropaic, i.e. it is believed to avert evil. Thus in Ireland it was hung in bunches outside the doors on the Feast of Corpus Christi.
