A day of two halves

Today started wet - and Mike had his first event as a Scout, having moved up from Cubs, the St Georges day service and parade into the centre of Keswick.

As you'll see from the top left picture, it was a damp affair, but coincided with the launch of a new radio station - Lakeland radio, so in the middle of Keswick they were out in force interviewing people and giving away stickers, balloons and Kendal mint cake.

Mid-afternoon it cleared up, so Mike and I went for a walk round the block, so good to see lambs gambolling and the daffs glowing in the sun.
