Sand and water
If you were to conjure up a Hebridean landscape, then Harris would be the place to go. Rugged mountains, golden sands and blue seas, they are all here. It has been said many times that Harris has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and anyone coming here would have to agree. What it doesn't have of course is the reliable weather. But because of that it has something that other places lack - solitude.
We spent the day dodging showers and walking in the wind, but we have seen the most glorious landscapes, even if it was only for a few minutes at a time.
We have another boat to catch early tomorrow morning.
