A damp day

The event in the village was curtailed to a degree due to the rain, but many villagers visited to show support. The fire brigade was very popular, also the face painting!!! 

S spent the morning with us whilst R was open water swimming. We watched the event from last night and  swapped info, I know the oldies and S was able to update me on the younger artists. I had missed lots of ‘bits’ last night, the result of multitasking. 

We walked into the village when the rain eased and took the girls. Olive went home with R & S, she has been a good visitor and Amber is missing her already.
