Worcester
We were in Worcester again today. This time it was to meet Maureen and Ian for lunch at Good Roots, the restaurant by the Royal Worcester Porcelain Works, which is now a museum and concert hall where, incidentally, an Elgar concert/afternoon tea was being held for the jubilee. We had a nice lunch then a walk by the canal and river. The Diglis community were having a jubilee street party by the marina, a great atmosphere with a stage and singer/guitarist plenty to eat and drink and rides on a trailer pulled by a steam engine powered road locomotive, they were just preparing it when we saw the billows of steam.
After M&I left we drove over to Emma's for a cup of tea and to say hello to Raffy, and Andy of course! Then home to see Nadal beat Ruud in the men's final at the French Open.
